Often called the gold standard of nori tsukudani (seasoned seaweed paste), “Gohan Desu Yo!” has been loved by people of all ages—from children to the elderly—for generations.
Using our unique “asa-daki” quick-simmer method, we preserve the delicate shape and texture of aosa nori (green seaweed), resulting in a rich, silky paste with a deep, oceanic flavor. This version is cooked for a shorter time than our classic “Edo Murasaki,” allowing the natural taste of the seaweed to shine through.
Enhanced with the savory umami of bonito and scallop, it’s a delicious topping for steamed rice, rice balls, or even as a side with drinks.
We use only domestically harvested nori, mainly from the Ise Bay area. At our dedicated facility in Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, we carefully process the seaweed with strict quality control, removing all impurities for a safe, high-quality product.
