In 1923, Shinjiro Torii began Japan’s first whiskey production, and in 1929, released the country’s first domestic whiskey. Originally branded simply as ‘Suntory Whiskey,’ its white label earned it the nickname ‘Shirofuda’ (White Label). After World War II, it became a favorite among whiskey enthusiasts and was affectionately called ‘Shiro.’ In 1964, the whiskey was officially renamed ‘White.’”
Contains a blend of malt whiskey, grain whiskey, and grain spirits.
